Job Description

The Civil Engineer will execute technical work assignments on municipal engineering projects individually or as part of a project team. This role is open to engineers with varying levels of experience, and tasks and responsibilities will depend on licensure status and level of experience. Candidates should have an EIT, PE, or be close to obtaining these certifications. The position could be in the Transportation Group or Water Resources Group.

Responsibilities will include:

Execute technical work assignments on municipal engineering projectsWork individually or as part of a project teamHandle aspects of Land Development, Water Resources, and TransportationParticipate in construction inspection services, land surveying services, and construction managementEssential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringEIT/PE or close to obtainingExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D3 to 4+ years of professional experience but we will accept someone with strong internship or co-op experienceExperience or interest in Water Resources or TransportationAdditional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Civil Engineering items within Water, Wastewater, Land DevelopmentExperience in Stormwater, Site development, Civil design, Drainage, GradingWork Environment

The work environment has a family feel within a large local firm. The firm has six offices throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area and collaborates with a majority of the local municipalities, handling all aspects of Land Development, Water Resources, and Transportation. Additionally, the company is very supportive of training and mentoring engineers to help them grow, pass their EIT, and eventually become a PE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00
