Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing all aspects of engineering projects, including layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, stormwater management, and erosion/sediment control. You will perform field investigations, prepare agency design submission packages, participate in permitting, and create as-constructed/as-built drawings. Additionally, you will interpret and apply federal, state, and local codes, draft technical specifications, and occasionally travel to project/client sites.

ResponsibilitiesDesign various aspects of engineering projects including layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, stormwater management, and erosion/sediment controlPerform field investigations to determine existing conditionsPrepare agency design submission packages for reviews and approvalsParticipate with permitting and the completion of as-constructed/as-built drawingsInterpret and apply all applicable federal, state, and local codesDraft technical specificationsOccasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetingsTop Skills & QualificationsProficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3DMinimum of 2-7 years of relevant design experience in site-civil engineeringExperience designing land development projectsEIT Certification or ability to obtain it within the next 6 months is preferredBSCE from an ABET accredited engineering programAbility to establish and maintain positive working relationships with team membersWork Environment

This is an in-office role with a small team of 5-7 people, with plans for rapid expansion. Our office has a very high retention rate and offers ample room for career growth. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $40.00
