Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with expertise in water management models, calculations, and the design of storm water management systems. This role involves collaborating with junior Civil Engineers on design work primarily in AutoCAD Civil 3D, analyzing long range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects, and assisting with site design projects in Civil 3D. ResponsibilitiesDevelop water management models and calculations.Design storm water management systems.Collaborate with junior Civil Engineers on design work in AutoCAD Civil 3D.Analyze long range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.Assist with site design projects in Civil 3D, including site grading, stormwater management, storm and sanitary sewer design, and utilities.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.Experience in site design, grading, and land development.Knowledge of stormwater, erosion control, and site civil engineering.Strong communication skills.Ability to take initiative.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS in Civil Engineering.EIT certification with the ability to obtain PE licensure.1-2 years of site design experience.Working knowledge and experience with state and regional regulations and stormwater management ordinances preferred.Work Environment

Our team is typically composed of around 15 individuals, including high-level and senior engineers. We operate on a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days a week in the office. The company culture is tight-knit and supportive, offering a multidisciplinary environment with opportunities in MEP, Architecture, Civil, Aquatic, Construction, Structural, Telecom, and Surveying. The Civil Engineer will work on various site development projects, including commercial, park districts, and gas stations, with limited municipal and governmental work. The role includes training under a PE and opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.00
