We are actively hiring for 2 mid-level Civil Engineers with 4+ years of experience to join an Engineering, Design, and Inspection Services team in Indianapolis, IN! These candidates will work with the Sr Project Management team to support Transportation and Water Resources projects across Indiana. These positions are open due to a strong pipeline of new projects as the company continues to grow.

Job Responsibilities:

Observe and monitor construction for conformance with contract documents and approved shop drawings/material submittal.Record field observations, monitor contractor's quality control, and verify construction conforms to contractor's quality control plan.Make field measurements, computations, and records of acceptable work.Prepare/maintain records in accordance with company's, client's, and government's standards.Assist the Sr Project Manager by performing the following tasks:Quantity Calculations, Design Computations, and Utility CoordinationRoadway Design, INDOT Process/Procedure, and Traffic Signal/Lighting DesignDrainage Design, Pipe Sizing, Inlet Spacing, Culvert Design, and PermittingGeometric Design of Transportation Infrastructure

Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an Accredited College or University 4+ Years in Transportation or Water Resources Engineering (i.e.: Storm Water, Drainage)E.I.T. License with ability to get the P.E. License (P.E. License preferred)Preferred but Not Required - Experience with Local and State Government StandardsPreferred but Not Required - Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3DPreferred but Not Required - Experience with Project Management

Additional Information:

Positions are open due to continued growth, including a recently won bid to participate on the Project Management Team of a 5-year, $522million project.Employees have ability to see projects from start-to-finish and will have the chance to get more involved with projects than the typical Civil firm allows.First shift position with flex schedule (start between 7am-9am); work 40-50 hours per week.Nice environment with a casual feel that is still deadline driven. It does not feel corporate.Office consists of a tight-knit group of 10-15 professionals, with 4-5 teammates in the field.Employees are given autonomy, as long as the work gets done and the client needs are met.Candidates will have the opportunity to stay in production or move into Project Management. Candidates can work on a variety of different projects and not be pigeon-holed into one type.Ideal Start Date is targeted for January 2025, but can be flexible within Q1 of 2025 if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $45.00
