Job Description
Seeking a Civil Engineer to join a growing architecture firm in downtown Cleveland, OH. This individual will perform site designs according to program, codes, and construction budget for public and commercial projects, as well as perform city engineering services to local municipal clients. Drafting and design will primarily be done in AutoCAD. Individuals will interface with managers, architects, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Open to candidates with a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering but no working experience.
Responsibilities:
-Performs due diligence investigations including but not limited to planning & zoning analysis, utility research, environmental & geotechnical reviews, and conceptual construction cost analysis.
-Prepare and review Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3)
-Develops conceptual layouts and technical solutions to comply with the project program.
-Prepares construction documents including layout, grading, utilities, stormwater management (both quantity & quality control), and applicable details.
-Makes presentations to clients, planning commission, or local permitting authority, as needed
-Provides construction administration assistance, such as shop drawing review, responding to requests for information, construction observation, and attends job site coordination meetings, as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
-0-2 years of site civil drafting/ design experience within AutoCAD
-EIT / PE preferred (or ability to obtain in near future)
-Experience within civil design for public/ municipal clients a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00
