Responsibilities The selectee will serve as an experienced engineer, providing civil engineering mentorship and expertise for various complex projects and activities throughout the office. These projects typically span multiple geographic locations, involve complex features, and address unusual needs or special demands. The role will encompass one or more specialties, including hydraulic, hydrologic, geotechnical, structural, highway, and construction management. Major duties include, but are not limited to: Performs routine engineering analysis assignments associated with technical planning activities. Participates in engineering studies, evaluations, design and/or modifications of new or existing structures. Provides engineering support in connection with regulatory program oversight, policy, review of regulatory compliance issues, and resolution of engineering related issues.
