Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineer to join their team in Ashburn, VA. This firm, a leading multi-disciplined consulting engineering company in Northern Virginia, specializes in Land Development projects including industrial, commercial, and residential sites throughout Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience in Land Development and will work with a project team to design various projects. Responsibilities + Create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations as needed. + Put together site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. + Assist Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and stormwater collection systems. + Design and develop land development projects for industrial, commercial, and residential sites. + Conduct grading, stormwater management design, and site development tasks. Essential Skills + 1+ years of Land Development experience. + Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. + Proficiency in AutoCAD. + Experience with Stormwater Management Design. + Experience putting together site plans. + Experience with grading. Additional Skills & Qualifications + EIT (or PE) preferred but not required. + Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus (training available). + Experience creating and running electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems is preferred.
