Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in stormwater design, grading, drainage, septic design, and sewer design. This role involves working on a variety of projects, from residential developments to large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design and develop stormwater management systems, including detention and retention basins, storm sewers, and green infrastructure.
+ Prepare grading plans and ensure proper site drainage to prevent erosion and flooding.
+ Design and implement drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
+ Develop septic system designs in compliance with local health department regulations.
+ Design sewer systems, including sanitary sewers and combined sewer systems, ensuring efficient and effective wastewater management.
+ Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints.
+ Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate civil engineering designs into overall project plans.
+ Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and specifications.
+ Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
+ Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and inspections.
+ Utilize engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, StormCAD) for design and analysis.
+ Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on stormwater, grading, drainage, septic, and sewer design.
+ Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
+ Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00
