Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to perform and manage transportation-related projects within Connecticut, including highway, bridge, and traffic projects. The ideal candidate will prepare or review written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble comprehensive reports. Additionally, the role involves preparing or reviewing calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports while managing coordination with various teams.
ResponsibilitiesManage and execute transportation projects related to highways, bridges, and traffic within Connecticut.Prepare or review calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.Summarize information collected by others and assemble comprehensive reports.Coordinate with various teams to ensure project requirements are met.Lead a team of engineers and designers through project completion.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Connecticut P.E. license.15+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience in highway, bridge, or traffic.Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.Proven ability to lead a team of engineers and designers.Additional Skills & QualificationsProject Management experience.Experience with CTDOT (Connecticut Department of Transportation) projects.Work Environment
The work environment involves a mix of office settings and fieldwork. Engineers will use various design and drafting software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. The role may require occasional travel to project sites within Connecticut. The dress code is business casual, with appropriate safety gear required for site visits.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $165000.00
