Here’s what we need from you:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldLicensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six monthsTechnical knowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience with project management and budgetingCapability of supervising, mentoring, and evaluating staffExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team atmosphereAbility to prioritize and handle multiple projects and clientsGood driving record and valid driver’s license

Essential job functions:

Design of municipal engineering and roadway projectsLead a multi-disciplinary team using technical and management skillsHands-on during the design processProvide technical direction and expertise to the teamOrganize, plan, and direct work activities and budgetsFoster and build client base through interpersonal relationshipsContribute to business development opportunities including preparing proposals and leading client meetingsConstruction management

Preferred experience:

Experience with the design of municipal facilities (water, storm sewer, wastewater, roadways)Understanding of municipal and state governmentsUnderstanding of municipal project funding and sources of funds

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $38.00
