Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Civil Engineer (PE), to join our growing Municipal, Land Development and Renewable Resources team in Arlington, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, construction, and project management initiatives within either municipalities, land development, roadway, stormwater management, and/or utility design. This position has the unique ability to partner with and lead some of the best engineers, project managers, and other technical staff in the industry. Responsibilities Responsibilities included: Ability to oversee the execution using engineering best practices on a wide variety of projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly. Multi-tasking is a must within this environment. Be involved and understand in all project aspects including design/study development, construction management, project management, RFI's/RFPs/Submittals, pay requests, and client meetings. Direct and oversee project leads and other technical staff with construction management tasks such as material submittal reviews, build reviews, and coordination with Contractors and clients. Direct and oversee project leads and other technical staff in the production of project plans, specifications, scheduling, budgeting, technical memoranda, and cost estimates. Includes getting acceptance from all approval agencies and the client. Conduct site visits, inspections, and assist with client development and technical completeness, for infrastructure projects with staff. Ability to recruit, hire, mentor and manage staff for their development needs including full office financial accountability. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, cities/clients, and other public agencies. This will include business development with existing clients and new. Ability to coordinate, schedule, and oversee multiple staff members with varying degrees of experience and technical abilities. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline 5-10 years of related experience in municipal (roadways, drainage, water and sewer) or land development (subdivision, commercial site plans) or renewable (solar/wind farms, battery storage site plans, etc.) site engineering and a minimum of 5 years of Project Engineering experience. Specializations in street/grading/utility design, drainage and overall stormwater management. Active Professional Engineer License is required or ability to obtain a License within 6 months. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for communicating with staff and clients Must be flexible, well organized, accountable, and dependable Physically able to perform work in the field if required such as reviewing plans onsite and tailgate meetings. #LI-SN1 Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
