Civil Engineer
Job Title: Civil Engineer - ChattanoogaJob Description Lead the design efforts for civil engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with project requirements. Oversee the scope, budget, schedule, and client needs for multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring successful project delivery. Develop and review reports, studies, design calculations, plans, specifications, and estimates to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Conduct site visits to gather data, assess conditions, and validate the practicality and feasibility of design solutions. Define and execute strategies for team growth and project excellence, aligning with company objectives and client needs. Assist with the preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications for new projects to support business development efforts. Essential Skills + Tennessee Professional Engineer (PE) license. + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. + 6 to 10 years of experience post-graduation with at least 3 years in Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education, and/or Single-Site sectors. + Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Additional Skills & Qualifications + TDEC Level I and TDEC Level II certifications a plus. + Experience in the direct procurement, management, and design of projects in the local area is strongly preferred. + Experience with Bentley Pondpack, StormCAD, AutoDesk Hydraflow Hydrographs Extension, CivilGEO GeoHECRAS, and/or XP Solutions XPSWMM is highly desirable.
