Your role within the team:
Perform structural analysis, seismic qualification and assessment, structural design, and ageing management.Prepare engineering design calculations for structural systems involving steel, reinforced concrete and masonry and prepare design documents and compile engineering packages.Analyze structural systems and elements as required using Analysis Software programs using SAP2000, STAAD Pro and other structural programs.Ensure Compliance with applicable Codes, Standards and Regulations, and ensuring the adequacy of design for permits and compliance with approved plans.Accountable for the delivering all engineering deliverables/task to achieve project objectives within specified timelines and budgets.Perform plant walkdowns as and if required in support of design requirements definition and detailed engineering of design modifications.Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?

The ideal candidate:
Civil Engineering degree from an accredited University, master's degree and above is an asset.Must be a P.Eng License holder. Preferably registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.Minimum 8-10 years of structural analysis and design experience in steel and concrete structures in Nuclear Power Plants / industrial buildings.Thorough knowledge of use of at least one Analysis software commonly used in Civil/Structural engineering such as StaadPro, SAP2000, etc.Deep and thorough understanding of structural engineering gained through a combination of design-office and site experience.Thorough knowledge of standard Codes and standards used in Civil/Structural engineering.Must have working knowledge of NBCC, CSA and other applicable industry codes and standards.Travel to client site is required.Are you up for this challenge?
