Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated civil engineering candidate to assist the Project Manager on Site Civil Engineering Projects. The successful applicant will assist in all aspects of civil engineering projects including the preparation of site, grading, utility and erosion control plans. A land development civil engineer helps plan residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use developments. In this role, the engineer will determine the feasibility of a development project and assess the land to ensure that it can support the planned development.

ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Manager on all design work for Land Site development projects including water/waste water, sewer, storm systems, drainage, surfaces, building, grading work, and layouts.Prepare site, grading, utility, and erosion control plans.Determine the feasibility of development projects and assess the land to ensure it can support the planned development.Coordinate multiple projects effectively.Communicate project progress and challenges with the Project Manager and team.Essential SkillsB.S. in Civil Engineering with 2-3 years of design experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.Excellent verbal communication and time management skills.Strong ability to coordinate multiple projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsEIT certification preferred.Experience in permitting and hydrology study preparation is beneficial.Willingness to consider new graduates with 6+ months of internships.Work Environment

Our offices are located in Historic Roswell, Georgia, in the former mills of the Roswell Manufacturing Company. The office at Roswell Mill features beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails in the backyard. We offer flexible working hours, with an 8-5 or 9-3 schedule when in the office, and a hybrid schedule after a 45-day probationary period (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.60/hr.
