Job Summary:
Evaluates engineering proposals, standards, process requirements and related technical data for engineering projects; recommends modifications to projects to improve quality; ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates in developing Company-wide policies, plans and programs applicable to engineeringProvides guidance and technical assistance in organizing and evaluating proposals; makes recommendations accordinglyConducts a review of engineering information; develops engineering designs that contain specific civil detailsReviews designs and cost estimates for Company equipment and/or systems; makes recommendations for equipment based on engineering specificationsKeeps abreast of Federal, State and local rules and regulations as they relate to assigned engineering activitiesInvestigates and evaluates engineering equipment and materials; makes recommendations accordinglyEvaluates current design standards and makes recommendations for design improvementsCoordinates preparation and maintenance of appropriate reports and recordsEnsures that drafting work, prepared by the Engineering Group, is accurate and completeCreates specifications for equipment, equipment installation and constructionCompletes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by ManagementPhysical Demands:

Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
Specific Knowledge and Skills:
