Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to design and assist on coordinatingw multidisciplinary projects, including site engineering for residential and commercial developments, regulatory approvals, and permitting. The ideal candidate will develop site layouts and designs, including site grading, storm drainage, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control plans, and utility plans. You will also prepare hydrology calculations and comply with NYSDEC stormwater requirements and SWPP requirements. Additionally, you will assist with project administration, including reports, proposals, and cost tracking. Preparing cost estimates and specifications for public bids, coordinating with other departments, and communicating with clients will also be part of your role. Ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality project delivery, as well as mentoring junior staff, are key responsibilities.

Work Environment
You will work on the Site Civil Team in the NYC office or Bohemia, NYC office, which includes 8 engineers in the office and a total of 20 team members including the Site Civil Team on Long Island. Our company has 100-200 employees in total and supports Site Civil and Municipal Projects in NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
