Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with experience in land development, water and sewer projects, stormwater management, erosion control, parking lots, and road design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and producing plans for a variety of land development projects, including commercial sites, subdivisions, apartment buildings, roads, and more.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and produce plans for land development projects such as commercial sites, subdivisions, apartment buildings, and roads.Oversee technical staff both in-house and outsourced to ensure project goals are met.Conduct research on local requirements, laws, and ordinances that affect project design.Prepare and review engineering reports and design documents for accuracy and compliance.Coordinate with reviewers to ensure project requirements are met.Adhere to drafting and design standards established by RCE.Review work for compliance with RCE standards before submission to the Project Manager.Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.Perform other related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering.Professional Engineer license with the capability of obtaining licenses in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.10+ years of experience in engineering design.Proficiency in AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred).Experience in land/site development design and permitting.Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in grading, drainage and pond design.Knowledge of water and sewer design, pump station design, and erosion control design.Expertise in road design.Strong project management skills.Experience in drafting, site planning, and site design.Familiarity with transportation, wastewater, and CAD.Ability to produce engineering reports and coordinate with reviewers.Work Environment

This position is based in an office setting located downtown. The team is currently small, consisting of five members, with plans to expand by adding 2-4 more people this year. The company is experiencing growth and offers significant upward mobility as they continue to expand their business workload. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
