Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description The Civil Engineer will execute technical work assignments on land development projects for municipal engineering, either individually or as part of a project team. The role is open to engineers with all levels of experience, with tasks and responsibilities varying depending on the status of licensure and level of experience. Candidates should have an EIT, PE, or be close to achieving these certifications. Responsibilities + Execute technical work assignments on land development projects. + Work individually or as part of a project team. + Engage in tasks related to municipal engineering. + Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and development. + Collaborate on projects involving land development, water resources, and municipal engineering. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering + EIT/PE certification or close to achieving it + Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D + 3 to 4+ years of professional experience + Experience or interest in land development, water resources, and municipal engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Revit + Skills in stormwater management, site development, civil design, drainage, and grading + Knowledge of transportation engineering and construction inspection services + Capability to work on land surveying and construction management Work Environment The work environment has a family feel despite being a large local firm. Business casual attire is expected. The company is one of the top civil engineering firms in the Philadelphia market with six offices throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area. They work with a majority of local municipalities, handling various aspects of land development, water resources, and transportation. The company offers excellent training and mentoring opportunities to help engineers grow, pass their EIT, and eventually become a PE. During the initial 12-month period, candidates will receive vacation and holiday pay, including up to 2 weeks of vacation and 6 major holidays.
