Job Description
The Civil Engineer will execute technical work assignments on land development and water resources projects for municipal engineering, either individually or as part of a project team. We are seeking engineers with all levels of experience, so tasks and responsibilities will vary depending on the status of licensure and level of experience. Candidates should have an EIT, PE, or be close to obtaining one.
ResponsibilitiesExecute technical work assignments on land development and water resources projects.Work on municipal engineering projects individually or as part of a project team.Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting tasks.Collaborate with local municipalities to handle all aspects of land development, water resources, and transportation projects.Participate in construction inspection services, land surveying services, and construction management.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.EIT or PE certification, or close to obtaining one.3 to 4+ years of professional experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.Experience or interest in land development, water resources, and municipal engineering.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Revit.Skills in stormwater, site development, civil design, drainage, and grading.Interest in transportation engineering.Work Environment
The work environment has a family feel for a large local firm with a business casual dress code. The firm operates six offices throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area. Engineers will receive vacation and holiday pay during the initial 12-month period, including up to 2 weeks of vacation and 6 major holidays. The company is committed to training and mentoring engineers to help them grow, pass their EIT, and eventually become a PE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
