Civil Engineer Department:Civil Engineering Location:Multiple, MI C2AE is a growing team made up of technical and creative people who love design. Civil Engineers are responsible for consultation, investigation, evaluation and planning, design, design review and approval, and/or determination of environmental and safety impacts of work processes and products (including, but not limited to building, utilities, systems, sites, roads, and other infrastructures). C2AE plays a significant role in staff training and development. We will assist you in creating a vision of personal growth for your career, then use this vision to also contribute to the growth of C2AE. Responsibilities Engineering and Design (90%) + Use engineering software to design, draft, detail, and modify engineering project designs/plans utilizing firm specifications. + Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures. + Review designs for compliance with codes and specifications. + Clarify and resolve technical issues. + May provide technical assistance with proposals and presentations. + May write reports and memorandums and assist with project presentations to clients. + May assist the PM, as requested, in the preparation of cost information. + Other related duties as assigned.
