Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description Our client is seeking a mid-level engineer or designer to support land development projects for the private and public sectors. Responsibilities + Support land development projects for both private and public sectors. + Utilize Civil 3D software proficiently. + Ensure compliance with state and local municipalities' land use regulations and agency processes. + Perform civil design tasks including erosion control and sediment control. + Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver project objectives. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience within civil engineering field (land development). + Proficient in Civil 3D. + Experience with state and local municipalities' land use regulations and agency processes. + BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in erosion control. + Experience in sediment control. Work Environment This is an in-office position with client visits required. Once established, there is an opportunity to earn work-from-home privileges. The office is located in Newark. The company is a well-established firm with a 37-year presence in the area, employing around 30 people. It is privately owned and seeks individuals for the long term. Employees receive 2-3 weeks of PTO and 6 holidays. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.26/hr.
