Job Description

An award-winning design firm based out of Boise, ID is looking for a Civil Engineer to support the design of institutional, retail, multi-family housing, and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate must possess 5-8 years of experience in supporting civil design engineering with strong knowledge of grading, drainage, erosion sediment, and stormwater. The ability to create horizontal control plans is essential. Although a professional engineer license is not required, candidates must be in the process of obtaining one.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the design of institutional, retail, multi-family housing, and commercial building projects.Create horizontal control plans.Utilize knowledge in grading, drainage, erosion sediment, and stormwater management.Engage in land development projects.Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure high-quality service and design.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.EIT certification required or in process of obtaining.5-8 years of experience in civil engineering within land development.Strong experience in grading, drainage, erosion sediment, and stormwater.Proficiency in Civil 3D (nice to have).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD.Experience in site development and stormwater management.Professional engineer license in process of obtaining.Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, allowing flexibility in choosing remote days. The company promotes a healthy work-life balance with half-day Fridays. Employees receive quarterly profit distributions after the first year, and PTO accruals are based on years of professional experience. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
