Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer Location: Newark, NJ Job Description: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in municipal and infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Key Responsibilities: + Lead and manage municipal and infrastructure projects from conception through completion. + Develop and review engineering plans, designs, and specifications. + Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff. + Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. + Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation. + Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. + Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on municipal and infrastructure projects. + Professional Engineer (PE) license required. + Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software. + Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and standards. + Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with water and wastewater projects. + Experience with wet utility projects + Experience with water resources (e.g., stream and waterway restoration) + Familiarity with stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility design. + Experience in public bidding processes and municipal engineering projects. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
