Kimley-Horn's Dallas, Texas (TX) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Aviation team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities Prepare analysis reports in support of airport planning, design, and constructionIn addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team membersCollaborate with multidisciplinary team to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projectsMaintaining a high degree of quality sets of plans along with checking the work of othersAssist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedulesThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projectsYou will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationshipsYou will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors Qualifications 4+ years of aviation engineering design experienceProfessional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)Familiarity with contract document preparation and cost estimatingFamiliarity with FAA Advisory Circular’s and Engineering BriefsFamiliarity with pavement design and FAAR Field Design SoftwareStrong desire and passion to be engaged with clients solving project problems and working with the team to deliverStrong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation experienceAbility to work in a team; both collaborating with and mentoring junior staffExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsStrong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines  Why Kimley-Horn?
