*Join the State Department of Military Affairs at the Great Falls Air National Guard Base as an Civil Engineer Design Technician!* *_Position Overview: _* This position will produce complete designs and plans using drafting software and devices, including roadside geometry, determining alignments, establishing line and grade, and other design components. It will be responsible for drafting plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects, such as highways, sewage disposal systems, and dikes, working from sketches or notes. It will review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts. As the Civil Engineer Design Tech you will draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations, and structures. You will perform basic inspection of construction sites to assure compliance with plans. You will compile and integrate design information for a wide variety (i.e., preservation to reconstruction) of design projects.
