Civil Engineers (Entry/Mid-Level)

BL Companies is hiring Civil Engineers with experience levels ranging from 0-5years of experience.  Land development experience is a plus but not required.  As a member of the BL Companies engineering team, you will be collaborating to complete concept plan preparation, civil site design, stormwater management, stormwater design, grading and drainage, and erosion and sediment control design for residential, commercial and industrial land development projects.  Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D are required, as well as written and oral communication skills.

 

Responsibilities Include:

Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D to develop civil site design for land development projects Design and prepare construction documents, exhibits and entitlement documents. Research permit requirements and local regulations. Layout sites to meet local zoning requirements. Grade sites and perform earthwork calculations. Assist with preparation of technical reports and plans to acquire permits and permit modifications during construction.

Position Requirements:

B.S. in engineering required for engineering positions. EIT certification preferred and or ability to obtain within a year for engineering position. Technical college and or community college for designer positions. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D preferred. Excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. 0-5 Years experience

Position title and role to be determined based on experience and qualifications.

 

Compensation for positions based on experience and qualification ranging from $67,000 to $90,000.  Additionally, compensation of straight time paid as overtime for hours worked over 40, generous PTO, leadership development programs, 401k match and no-cost Stock Plan, and our 100% Employee Owned model.
