About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a focus on Water Resources to join our dynamic team in Northern Indiana. This individual will provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight to team members within the Water Resources practice, as well as collaborating with staff from supporting departments. The role includes project management responsibilities for municipal infrastructure projects, with a focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. The successful candidate will also contribute to a variety of development projects across diverse settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead all phases of water and wastewater projects, from planning and design to construction oversight. Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across Northern Indiana and South Michigan. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering team members and promote a collaborative, innovative work environment.Technical Oversight:
Perform analysis and design for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, feasibility studies, and alternative evaluations. Develop sketches, diagrams, and engineering calculations. Review contractor shop drawings and submittals. Prepare proposals, specifications, and construction cost estimates. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Engage with leaders from various disciplines within the firm to drive project success. Foster Growth: Encourage team development, promote cohesiveness, and support an innovative culture.Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering preferred. Proven experience managing municipal infrastructure projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D required. Experience with ArcGIS, WaterCAD, and HydroCAD preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook). Soft Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
