Job Title: Civil Engineer III
Job Description

The Civil Engineer III is responsible for the management of analysis, development, and permitting of ground mount utility scale solar farms.

ResponsibilitiesManage designers and engineers to develop and evaluate site constraint analysis, including zoning, topography, environmental, and soils.Manage project schedule and budgets.Ensure project compliance with all applicable AHJ requirements.Act as Engineer-of-Record for soil erosion & sediment control and stormwater plans, details, and calculations for permit submittal to AHJ.Direct Civil Designers and Engineers to prepare and revise site/civil plans and calculations.Prepare revisions and responses to AHJ comments.Essential SkillsProficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.Experience with grading plans, erosion control, and civil design.Minimum eight (8) years of relevant work experience.BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.Registered Professional Engineer (NC Preferred, Not Required).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with design of PV projects.Work Environment

This is an office environment with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This role offers a great opportunity to join a growing Civil Department within a firm that is looking to double in size within the next 1-2 years. The company is industry leading and has one of the best offices in the RTP area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
