Civil Engineer (Mid/Senior Level) Land Development

BL Companies is hiring Civil Engineers with 5-10+ years of experience. Land development experience is a plus but not required. As a member of the BL Companies engineering team, you will be collaborating to complete concept plan preparation, civil site design, stormwater management, stormwater design, grading and drainage, and erosion and sediment control design for residential, commercial and industrial land development projects. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D are required, as well as written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead design team and project from concept to permit. Work with project manager and clients Mentor and develop junior staff Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D to develop civil site design for land development projects Design Grading and drainage for land development projects Prepare technical reports, drainage study, grading erosion and sediment control, site investigation reports.Position Requirements:
B.S. in engineering required for engineering positions. P.E. preferred and or ability to obtain within a year for engineering positions. Technical college and or community college for designer positions. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D. Excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. 5-10 years’ experience
