Your Role: 

Civil Engineering infrastructure design that primarily includes roadway design, green streets, complete streets, stormwater capture and treatment, precise grading, and ADA curb ramp design   Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates;  Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects;  Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other engineering disciplines and utility infrastructure;  Collaborate with a team to create unified solutions and create seamless deliverable sets 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar, required  3+ years of experience in civil engineering field  Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification strongly preferred  Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record  Project work experience and knowledge of feature lines, precise grading, surfaces, and drainage using Civil3D is ideal  Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills  Ability to self-direct and self-check plan sets and reports, along with others work product  Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D as well as Microsoft Office software, to include Word, Excel, word processing, and spreadsheet management programs   This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more

Salary Ranges: $68,000 - $80,000 

Additional Information Organization: 200 IEW
