Job Title: Civil Engineer (PE)Job Description

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Professional Engineer to join our team in any of our offices located in Indianapolis South, Indianapolis North, Ft. Wayne, Crown Point, Evansville, South Bend, Huntingburg, and Bowling Green (KY). This role involves working on all phases of Municipal Water/Wastewater Treatment Process Design, including: Conceptual and Feasibility Evaluations; preparation of Design Reports; development of Contract Documents; Bidding assistance; and support of Construction Engineering services. This is an excellent career opportunity for a multi-talented and creative engineer interested in solving complex Water/Wastewater engineering challenges.

Job ResponsibilitiesDesign municipal water/wastewater treatment processes from concept to feasibility evaluations.Prepare detailed design reports and develop contract documents.Assist with bidding processes and provide support for construction engineering services.Work on rehabilitation projects and new construction projects for water distribution and wastewater collection systems.Interact with and assist in managing clients.Mentor junior team members and help them grow professionally.Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline (Master's or Ph.D. is a plus)Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana or the ability to obtain reciprocityExperience in Water/Wastewater Engineering Treatment Process/Plant Design for Drinking Water and WastewaterHydraulic Engineering experience with Planning and Designing Pump Stations, Collections Systems, and Distribution SystemsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in team environments.Strong work ethic and organizational skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience working for a Civil Consulting firmExperience with Treatment Plant Modeling software such as GPS-X and Visual HydraulicsFamiliarity with Civil 3DWork Environment

Our office environment is laid back but can be deadline-intensive at times. There is a strong team environment and a family feel is very important to us. Dress code is business casual. Standard working hours are 8am to 5pm, but there is flexibility to start as early as 7am or as late as 9am. Engineers may have the option to work a flexible schedule, such as 9 hours Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
