Job Description

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Professional Engineer for our Indianapolis South Office. This role offers an excellent career opportunity for a multi-talented and creative individual interested in solving complex water/wastewater engineering challenges. The position involves working on all phases of municipal water/wastewater treatment process design, including conceptual and feasibility evaluations, preparation of design reports, development of contract documents, bidding assistance, and support of construction engineering services.

ResponsibilitiesDesign municipal water/wastewater treatment processes.Conduct conceptual and feasibility evaluations.Prepare design reports and develop contract documents.Assist with bidding processes and provide support for construction engineering services.Work on water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems for municipal clients.Engage in stormwater and transportation engineering projects as needed.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana or ability to obtain reciprocity.Experience in water/wastewater treatment process/plant design.Hydraulic engineering experience with pump stations, collection systems, and distribution systems.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work independently and in team environments.Strong work ethic and organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working for a civil consulting firm.Experience with treatment plant modeling software such as GPS-X and Visual Hydraulics.Ability to mentor junior team members.Work Environment

The office environment is laid back but can be deadline intensive at times. There is a family feel, and a strong team environment is very important. Dress is business casual. The standard working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexible start times ranging from 7 AM to 9 AM. Engineers may have the option to work a modified schedule of 9 hours Monday through Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. The company offers relocation assistance in the form of a sign-on bonus and is open to both contract-to-hire and direct placement opportunities. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
