Engineer/Project Manager
Seeking a qualified, licensed Civil/Land Development/Roadway/Utilities Engineer to assist with studies, reports, designs, and plans. This role is suited for a Professional Consultant, Level 3 or 4, requiring a degree from an ABET-accredited university and a minimum of 5 years of licensure as a professional engineer in a state with Florida reciprocity. Candidates must be able to attain Florida licensure within 4 months of hire. This position operates as a Project Engineer, focused on both private and public-sector projects, and requires strong work and professional ethics.
The role is based in Venice, FL, working under the direction of a supervisor assigned by the VP of Engineering.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience (required) and 3 years of project management experience (preferred) Proficiency in civil and/or structural engineering analysis, design, and permitting Skilled in computer modeling using software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR, ARC Map (GIS), and MODRET Experience preparing plans and specifications to meet current municipal and state codes Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with strong technical skills, open-mindedness, and a collaborative work ethic
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer Intern (E.I.) in Florida or a reciprocal state
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $85,000 to $150,000, commensurate with education, background, and experience Benefits include holiday pay, paid health insurance, generous PTO, and 401(k) eligibility after an introductory period
