Job Title: Water Resources ExpertJob Description We are currently seeking a Water Resources expert to support our water modeling projects with various water management districts and municipal clients. Responsibilities + Advise customers on their most complex modeling challenges. + Develop and propose solutions that bring value to our customers by helping them solve their critical water modeling challenges. + Provide expertise with ICPR/StormWise, as well as knowledge in other related software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, etc.). + Develop watershed-level models, calibrate, and run models. + Build real-time flood forecasting systems. + Evaluate/Assess data, understand data gaps, collect additional data, and incorporate the data into modeling platforms. + Run simulations and calibrate water models. + Prepare technical documentation/visualization. + Support other engineering, design, and GIS related tasks based on individual passions and qualifications. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field. + 3+ years of water resources experience, including hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling. + Experience with large scale watershed studies, including surface water and groundwater interactions. + Expert in ICPR/StormWise. + Knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM or equivalent software. + Ability to use GIS or other software to prepare inputs for water models. + Ability to develop and calibrate models. + Ability to process/analyze results and prepare technical documentation/visualization. + Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. + Ability to work within a team environment. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Professional engineer (PE) or engineer-in-training (EIT) is a plus. Work Environment Fully remote (must be based in Florida). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $51.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
