Join our team and help us keep communities connected. **Your Opportunity** Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to assist our growing roadway, planning, traffic, and bridge groups. Candidates should be technical thinkers with beginner level experience with design/construction. Must be able to work collaboratively with a team of engineers and designers at all levels to deliver quality plans to clients. Positions will be based out of various locations in the Gulf States. **Your Key Responsibilities** + CAD drafting + Perform design calculations + Assist in developing engineering estimates + May sometimes need to assist with deliveries or field work + Other entry level engineering duties, as needed **Qualifications** **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation software preferred + Microsoft Office Suite + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Detail oriented and organized. + Ability to work independently and in a group. + Ability to multitask and work effectively at a fast pace. + Willingness to learn new skills and interface collaboratively with a large and experienced team across all levels and disciplines. + Self-motivated. **Education and Experience** + College class work in Civil Engineering and current status as Civil Engineering student working towards a bachelor’s degree. Typical office environment working with computers and a dynamic group of engineers.
