We are looking for an experienced **Civil Engineering Leader** to join us in the Los Angeles office and play a pivotal role in leading and growing our civil engineering team.The ideal candidate should be a licensed civil engineer with extensive experience in multi-disciplinary projects serving as a project manager. The role involves technical design, consulting, client engagement, business development, and team leadership. **The Opportunity:** · Manage complex large multidisciplinary design projects, including oversight of the commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the project. · Provide leadership, mentoring and career development for a team of civil engineers. · Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients and collaborators. · Lead the preparation of proposals, bid submissions, and marketing activities. · Coordinate with internal market and business leaders to develop strategic opportunities. · Serve as senior technical reviewer and QA/QC leader for civil design projects. · Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence while building a climate of trust and openness within the team **Qualifications:** · Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; Master’s degree preferred. · 12+ years of experience in civil engineering. · Deep knowledge of core civil engineering fundamentals such as hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, low impact development, 3-D utility design, grading and earthwork, roadway and geometric alignments, and accessibility standards. · Highly proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering design and analysis software. · Experience winning and delivering successful projects for local clients in the Los Angeles market. · Professional Engineering license is required · Experience managing project delivery and interfacing with project owners, contractors, and outside consultants. · A commitment to sustainable design practices. · Track-record of building and managing successful relationships with client organizations · Demonstrable commercial acumen, business savvy, and leadership qualities **Notable current projects and clients:** · California High Speed Rail Stations · LAX Roadways, Utilities, and Enabling Works · CP2 Bart to Silicon Valley · LAX Terminal 5 Redevelopment · Santa Monica Airport Conversion Please note that all applicants must apply directly via the job portal. Options for alternative schedules and the ability to work outside of the office for a portion of your workweek are available **Hiring Range -** The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Los Angeles is $140,000 to $180,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
