Job Description
The Project Manager will specialize in Wastewater Treatment projects. They will be responsible for planning and leading projects, client communication, and providing technical expertise for project execution. They will be involved in management of the project as well as performing the design and engineering development of the project. The Project Manager will work with, and report to, the Kalamazoo Office Director while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teams in the office. Projects include the design and improvement for wastewater treatment plants and municipal water systems.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop water and wastewater treatment systems, including the selection and sizing of equipment, calculations, and hydraulic modeling.Conduct engineering evaluations and feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects.Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.Communicate and collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and permit requirements.Oversee the construction and installation of water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure design specifications and quality standards.Provide technical support to other engineers and technicians.Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure project delivery.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in engineering and design for wastewater treatment.Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.PE License or EIT working towards PE License.Experience with Civil 3D, Revit, or related design program.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hydraulic modeling.Strong client communication skills.Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.Work Environment
The office is located in Kalamazoo, where civil, structural, and mechanical groups work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, in-office.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00
