Civil/Environmental Engineer
Job Titles: Civil Engineer or Environmental Engineer  Description + Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure. + Work on engineering planning and design projects. + Prepare reports. + Develop plans and specifications. + Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects. + Conduct system modeling. + Provide permitting and alternative analysis. + Prepare of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables. + Perform data entry and analysis. + Provide engineering services during construction. + Participate in field activities such as pilot testing. Skills + Arcgis + AutoCAD + Hydrology + Wastewater design, Wastewater plants, + Infrastructure design, + WaterGEMS, + InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. (Masters Degree Preferred) + Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design. + 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering. + Engineer-in-Training Certification. + Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Work well in a team environment. + Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting. + Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
