The job responsibilities for the position will include, but are not limited to: * Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. * Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. * Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. * Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered. * Identifies discrepancies in results. * Provides guidance to entry level engineers. * Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications** + BA/BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering and 2 years of experience in water infrastructure design projects and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education **Preferred Qualifications** + EIT or be able to obtain a California PE when qualifying experience is gained, or PE. + Masters' Degree in Engineering or related field + Proficiency with design software including but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, BioWin. + Positive attitude, good aptitude, and strong initiative to integrate with our existing group of outstanding professionals + OSHA 10-hour training or HAZWOPER training + Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with diverse audience + Experience in construction phase services, desire to obtain hands-on field experience + Demonstrated proven track record of completing technical engineering tasks and balancing workload across multiple water infrastructure projects **Additional Information** + No sponsorhip is available for this role + No relocation is available for this role. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
