Description

Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.Work on engineering planning and design projects.Prepare reports.Develop plans and specifications.Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects.Conduct system modeling.Provide permitting and alternative analysis.Prepare of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.Perform data entry and analysis.Provide engineering services during construction.Participate in field activities such as pilot testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. (Masters Degree Preferred)Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design.0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.Engineer-in-Training Certification.Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Work well in a team environment.Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00
