Civil Field Engineer
Position: Civil Field Engineer Place of Work: Camden, NJ; KPS Technology Center and various Nuclear Power Plants Holtec International seeks qualified applicants for the Civil Field Engineer position in its Civil Design & Construction department with the company’s Nuclear Power division based at the company’s KPS Technology Campus in Camden, NJ.   This department is responsible for construction of Spent Fuel Storage Installations at various Nuclear Power Plants across the United States and worldwide. The Civil Field Engineer provides critical engineering support throughout various phases of project design, estimating, and construction. You will assist estimators by analyzing proposal documents, performing quantity takeoffs, and incorporating historical data to support accurate cost and labor estimates. Your responsibilities will also include helping prepare bid and procedure packages, supporting the development and maintenance of construction schedules, and managing construction documentation such as logs, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes. Additionally, you will track material deliveries, assist with project status reporting, attend project meetings, and support project close-out activities, ensuring smooth execution and documentation across all stages of the project.  Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: + The preferred candidate will have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and have 1-5 years of experience; 5-10 years preferred + Familiar with the civil aspects of construction: concrete, rebar, soils, underground utilities, drainage etc. + Willing to travel over 50% of the time on assignments, following a training and acclimation period in NJ.  Temporary relocation may be required anywhere from 6 to 18 months depending on project. + Must have excellent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Experience with Primavera, AutoCad is desired but not required As a technology trailblazer and a prominent innovator in clean energy (nuclear and solar) industry, Holtec strives to foster a meritocratic work environment conducive to continuous learning and professional growth of its associates.  Holtec is an equal opportunity employer with a long-standing commitment to social equity and environmental justice.  The company gives special preference to disabled veterans as a part of its recruitment policy.  Detailed information on the Company can be obtained by consulting the website: holtecinternational.com.
