Job Description
An established engineering firm with multiple offices across Kansas is seeking to train an entry-level civil engineering graduate. The position involves assisting with the collection and analysis of samples of soil, rock, and other earth materials to determine variations in different landscapes and evidence of pollution or climate change. The ideal candidate will have Civil EIT certification. Most of the work will be done locally in Overland Park, KS. The role includes working on a variety of projects ranging from the construction of small coffee shops, large commercial parking lots, logistic centers, sports fields, school additions, and highway expansions.

The role involves 75% field work during the spring and summer months, averaging 50-60 hour work weeks. Attention to detail is of the highest priority. The job includes working in the field, office, and lab. You will be paid for overtime.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $34.62/hr.
