We are seeking a **Civil Hydraulic Engineer** with 4-10 years of experience and a desire to tackle complex problems related to the flow of water and sediment in both engineered and natural systems. The successful candidate will have a strong fundamental understanding of environmental fluid mechanics, open channel flow, fluvial geomorphology, sediment transport, and turbulent mixing. Proficiency in numerical tools, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and hydrodynamic modeling, is required. Furthermore, the ability to understand a client’s problem, and to distill and concisely communicate creative solutions through excellent technical writing and high-quality graphics is necessary. The candidate must be a team player with strong leadership qualities but be comfortable working independently. This position will work closely with the **Fort Collins, CO** office, where current staff have a range of in-office and **hybrid** work preferences.
