We are seeking a Civil Inspector for 7 month project based in Ras Laffan, Qatar

Job Objective:
To assist and support QA/QC Engineers/ Manager to perform QA/QC surveillance activities as per project quality assurance, control plans, ITP, approved relevant quality, project specific, civil- constriction, client and international standards.

Roles & Responsibilities: Familiar with international codes and standards such as ACI, ASTM and other standards. Conduct the Material receiving inspections as per approved ITPs, and procedures or following with project specifications and procedures. Conduct/Attend the hold and witness point inspections of all the activities for structural and Architectural prior to final inspection and approval of client representative. Surveillance daily on site to closely monitor ongoing construction activities and compliance with project specifications and related codes and standards. Identify quality problems and areas of non-conformance and initiate NCR prior to civil, trenching, backfilling etc. Manage and supervise all different tests required for site and laboratory i.e.: Compressive Strength, Slump, Temperature, Proctor test, FDT, Core test, DFT. Manage all required tests and calibration of machines and apparatus by approved laboratories. Inspection and supervision of Earthworks. Witnessed field density Test (FDT) for subgrade, base course, asphalt base and wearing course for Roads. Qualifications: Graduate from Civil Engineering with 10 years’ experience, Qatar Marine / Jetty / Port development Project experience preferred. Valid BOSIET (for offshore civil/construction inspections)
