What You'll Be Doing

Job Summary: This scope shall consist of observing, reporting, and ensuring safe and high-quality work to support the execution of projects at our client's new projects electrical generating facilities. This includes ash pond closure, water treatment operations, structural steel erection, mechanical piping, rotating equipment, solar, and wind installations.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

The Worker shall support site management with contractor oversight and contract administration, including field coordination of activities and administrative tasks related to contract documentation.

The Worker shall adhere to and ensure onsite contractor adherence to site quality procedures and programs.

The Worker shall attend and participate in and/or lead the necessary Project meetings based on their individual role.

The Worker shall become familiar with and be able to interpret any technical specifications and drawings related to the scope of work they are overseeing.

The Worker shall coordinate and facilitate receipt of material and/or equipment delivery as designated by the Purchaser’s representative.

The Worker shall complete any necessary deliverables as defined by their individual role or as directed by Purchaser’s onsite representatives.

The Worker shall complete necessary site-specific orientation and safety training.

The Worker shall support any necessary permitted work (i.e.; LOTO, Confined Space Entry) for their scope of work, including serving as Purchaser’s representative when facilitating contractor permitted activities.

The Worker shall have completed appropriate training prior to facilitating any permitted work activities.

Ideal Background

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university is preferred.

Licensing and Certification: ADEM QCI Inspection Certification

Experience: This position requires a minimum 5 years of relevant industrial construction coordination and administration experience.   AutoCAD, Civil 3D

Ability to perform work outdoors in hot or cold climates.

Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment such as a fire-retardant jumpsuit, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hat.
