Your Contribution
Leadership and management of engineers and techniciansTechnical supervision and design capabilities in the areas of pavement, utilities, grading, site elements, and drainageClient development and management, including successful relationships, financial accounting, and responsivenessFamiliarity with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other design criteriaManage demands of in-house and external surveying supportCommunity involvement including active participation and seeking leadership roles in civic, technical, and professional organizationsDevelops proposals, scopes, fees, and tracking performanceDevelopment and maintenance of relationships with City departmentsPresentations at hearings, Commissions, and Council meetingsProject types to include:Site Design for Office, Retail, Industrial, and Institutional BuildingsResidential Subdivisions from Land Acquisition to Finished LotsMunicipal Roadway, Drainage, and Planning projectsYour Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering requiredProfessional engineer registration in TexasMinimum 6 years of experience in the types of responsibilities listed aboveAdditional desirable experience would include:Experience including plans production and management of the following tasks:Experience with entitlements such as Platting, Zoning, and Municipal PermittingExperience with Site Planning and Development Master PlanningGrading and Drainage DesignStreet and Alley DesignSite DesignWater and Wastewater DesignHydrology and Hydraulics Analysis and DesignGeneral Civil DesignConstruction ManagementSoftware including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.SWP3sExcellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractorsMust be able to attend City Council/client meetings as neededBenefits and Perks
