We are a national environmental consulting firm that specializes in assessment and remediation of soil, soil gas and groundwater; environmental compliance; and storm and wastewater design and consulting. We are headquartered in Orange, California, and have a regional office in Annapolis, Maryland.
We are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our team in Orange, CA.
The Project Engineer will execute engineering and project management tasks that include process utility design, water/wastewater treatment system design, field engineering and contractor oversight, shop drawing review, project permitting and stakeholder coordination, and other related environmental projects in support of industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.
Position Overview:
Lead engineering and construction teams for water/wastewater treatment and reuse systems, process utility systems for new industrial facilities, pumping systems (e.g., lift stations), chemical addition systems, and other related municipal and industrial projectsCollaborate with project team members and stakeholders to develop project plans and strategiesConduct cost estimates and prepare project budgetsEnsure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standardsMonitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completionCommunicate project updates and provide regular reports to project managers and clientsManage and maintain project documentation and recordsKey Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldEIT certification required, PE license is preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Project EngineerExperience in municipal and/or industrial projects (req. water/wastewater projects)Strong knowledge of process engineering and design principlesExperience with cost estimating and budget managementProficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering softwareFamiliarity with environmental regulations and permitting processesExcellent project management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentBenefits
