We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Project Manager to support various water-related projects. You will manage multiple projects across different counties, focusing on design execution and quality assurance. The role includes groundwater planning, pipeline and storage design, pump stations, pipe rehabilitation, water planning, and urban water supply.
Responsibilities
+ Support different subsets of water groups.
+ Execute design decisions and support QA/QC.
+ Manage multiple projects across different counties.
+ Support groundwater planning, pipeline and storage design, pump stations, pipe rehabilitation, water planning, and urban water supply.
+ Assemble, manage, and provide technical guidance to multi-disciplinary project teams.
+ Manage and implement pre-design investigations and preparation of contract documents.
+ Prepare and review project technical reports and deliverables.
+ Coordinate with client representatives, regulatory and external stakeholders, and technical subconsultants.
+ Communicate with clients on complicated technical problems effectively and efficiently.
+ Manage and administer construction-phase engineering support and construction management, including submittal reviews, requests for information, change order requests and negotiations, and dispute resolutions.
+ Perform and manage design and construction field observation activities.
+ Support the preparation of proposals.
+ Understand client needs and build and maintain trusted client relationships.
+ Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
+ Effectively delegate and manage work.
+ Provide mentorship and leadership to junior engineers.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
+ Professional Civil Engineer License in California.
+ Proven experience with the development of technical work products.
+ Experience managing planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
+ Experience in project management, capital improvement plans, and capital improvement programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Land development review experience.
+ Business development experience, including winning work.
+ Mechanical design experience.
Work Environment
You have the option to work two days in the office, specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Enjoy catered lunches on these days. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
