Job Description
We are seeking talented Civil/Survey CAD Technicians to support key projects and pipeline initiatives. This role involves developing pipeline routes, generating and editing alignments, and creating technical drawings and topographical maps. You will collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure construction projects are executed according to specifications and client requirements.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lay out pipeline routes to conform to specifications and client requirements.Generate and edit pipeline alignments, profiles, surfaces, cross sections, and pipe networks using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.Create technical drawings and topographical maps, updating various data points obtained from the field.Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure construction projects are carried out accordingly.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Experience in civil design, topography, topographic surveys, and land surveying.Ability to create and update survey plats for long transmission pipeline greenfield projects.Drafting skills and knowledge in construction and land surveying.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree related to the field of CAD.Experience with linear projects and related fields.Knowledge of Civil 3D is a plus.Work Environment
The position will start in the office for the first few months to understand the support required and processes. Once proficiency is demonstrated, candidates may transition to a hybrid work setting, reducing in-office days to a couple of times a week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
