Avera St. Luke's Nephrology/Urology is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

Plans, organizes and directs all aspects of nursing services in the Nephrology Clinic.  Demonstrates effective leadership skills, works collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems, and supports the Clinic’s mission.  Maintains current data for Performance Improvement studies. The ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice are exemplified within this Job Description. The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for the patient throughout their life span. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer’s status.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.

Education and/or Experience

Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Nursing experience is preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Current license from the State of South Dakota Board of Nursing.  Current CPR certified is required. ACLS (advanced Cardiac Life Support) is preferred.

Work Schedule

Day Shift; 48 hours every 2 weeks Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$26.25 - $39.25 per hour
